Arla Foods - Taw Valley

Indev Consult was appointed by Arla Foods UK Ltd to provide civil and structural engineering designs for their new milk vat room extension at Taw Valley Creamery, Devon.

The vat room extension provided an additional 5200 sq ft of production area, comprising steel frame structure with cleanroom interior to meet best-in-class food hygiene standards. A further 3000 sq ft of existing production space was refurbished to a similar standard.

Our appointment also included internal alteration and refurbishment of Arla Foods’ adjacent main reception and office building. During this development, we also provided architectural services, including applications for planning and building warrant.
