Established in 2015, we are a Civil and Structural Engineering Design Consultancy based in Central Scotland, specialising in residential and commercial design, from small site developments to large scale infrastructure. Our clients include multinational companies, contractors, local authorities, landowners, developers, and planning consultants.

Consistent and smooth-running project management is integral in all of the work we do. From inception to completion, all projects are managed by a senior member of our team, ensuring continuity of design philosophy.

Our experienced project managers and engineers can offer advice and guidance on large scale projects to smaller and more bespoke undertakings.

Douglas Kirkby
Director, Indev Consult Ltd
Douglas has extensive experience in Civil Engineer design and construction, successfully completing numerous major civil engineering projects throughout Scotland.
With particular expertise in infrastructure master-planning design, Douglas is also highly skilled in the detailed design of new build housing, external roadworks projects, retail parks and highway link/motorways.
John Murray
Director, Indev Consult Ltd
John has a broad range of experience in both Civil and Structural Engineering design, having managed multi-disciplined designs for a variety of high value commercial and residential developments throughout the country. John’s previous projects include hotels, retail parks, superstores, and new build housing for both the private and public sector.
With extensive experience in the detailed design of new infrastructure works, John has a track record of delivering cost effective solutions for all sectors of the construction market.
Scott Frame
Director, Indev Consult Ltd
Scott leads the Structural Engineering Department within Indev Consult. A Chartered Structural Engineer, Scott has extensive experience in structural design, including low and high rise residential, commercial, industrial, educational, hospital/nursing home and refurbishment developments.
Scott has successfully delivered projects utilising a range of structural forms, including multi-storey steelwork and concrete framed structures, loadbearing masonry, timber frame, ICF (Insulating Concrete Formwork) and cold form metal stud framing systems.
Scott is an approved Certifier of Design under SER (Scotland) Ltd, and the Primary Certification Coordinator for Indev Consult Ltd.
