Newcraighall Infrastructure / School / Residential
The development at Newcraighall includes 1,500 houses across the site. The land, stretching from Stoneybank and Newcraighall down past the village of Old Craighall, is approximately 55 hectares south of the A1 set aside for housing and the school, with a further 20 hectares dedicated to employment.
North of the A1, more than 40 hectares have been set aside for creating housing and an innovation park supporting research work taking place within Queen Margaret University.
Indev Consult developed engineering strategies and constraints from concept for the full masterplan site including drainage, suds and earthworks. We provided detailed designs to support the outline, detailed planning and statutory consents for the first 500 units north of the A1 site.
We prepared further detailed infrastructure designs serving the school site an additional 350 units south of the A1.
