Lenzie Hospital – Robertson Homes

Indev Consult was commissioned in 2015 to carry out detailed civil and structural designs for a new residential development at the former Lenzie Hospital site in East Dunbartonshire.

Working from a blank canvas, we provided advice and information on-site constraints, costing, and viability designs with enough detail to allow a bid to be agreed between the Vendor and Robertson Homes.

Working closely with the local authorities, we were able to provide supporting engineering designs to gain the required planning permission, road construction consents and technical approvals from Scottish Water.

The site was technically challenging in terms of topography, access and drainage connections; however, these issues were navigated around with close negotiation and consultation with East Dunbartonshire Council and Scottish Water, respectively.
